Hey everyone! Just a quick check-in and heads up on our plans for the next build, as we've pushed it back to later this month.

What are we working on?

The final set of islands are ready to go. A set of Dungeon islands - each supporting up to a half dozen encounters - the Boss island, and the Hub island which connects all of the islands in a run.

The world-building tools and workflow we've developed to create these islands allows us to easily design and lay out a new topography, which will then be textured, populated with trees and foliage, lighting and shoreline data. From there we lay out node locators, which feed back into biome generation stage, making a clearing, setting up paths, etc. At runtime we populate the islands with encounters at each of these nodes - battles, merchants, shrines, etc. - along with an entry and exit portal and all of the logic to wire them all together.

When is the next build coming out?

The new build is going to be stuffed full of a boatload of new and returning content. If all goes well, it'll be good to go before the coming Easter weekend. All should go well 💪
